Mail in Yosemite 10.10.3

After i Installed Yosemite version 10.10.3 , I am having tremendous problems with mail. it does nor open , and whenever utopians you do nt see the messages . This is very annoying. Can some one guide me on how to rectify this situation ?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

As a first step, try running the combo update.

10.10.5 Combo Update

If Mail will now open, but you still can't see any e-mails, try rebuilding the mailbox.

Rebuild mailbox

If that doesn't work, try re-indexing the mailboxes. This can take awhile if you have a lot of mail.

Reindex messages
